1)Beijing dialect is basically the offical mandarin Pu Tong Hua of China. I like Beijing dialect.
I am from Anhui Province,have no idea what Shanghaineses or Cantoneses are talking about when they use local languages.
The most objectionable is that they think their dialect is nobler than other dialects or better than other dialects (Whether you are a Chinese or a foreigner, as long as you are not a Shanghai native, Shanghai native will discriminate against you,but not in a evil way,they just speak Shanghai local language when they are together make you feel very uncomfortable, even if you speak Mandarin)!


2)Every Chinese dialect is worth cherishing and respecting.
