Xinjiang Karakax County is on China's worst poverty county list, most of its lands are deserts and people there were mostly unskilled and uneducated which also contributed to their abject poverty.

The government set up free vocational training schools ( concentration camps) to teach the local a trade or modern skilles so they can be employable for factories , restarants,kingdergartens, beauty salons, clinics and other industries.

Now many in Karakax county have graduated from those vocational training schools (concentration camps) and 5878 graduates landed jobs in various industries.

But we are living in an age of Globalization not 70 years ago. I am not against China or Chinese Govt. I love China its a beautiful country and Chinese are very very friendly but like cmon bro you cannot stop people from following their religion, you're creating more hate. Oppression brings resistance. If you want to be the super power then act like one. China needs to open up more. China is as developed as the Western countries yet the Chinese people wanna leave China. Here in Canada all Chinese I have met want to be Canadian they said there is no freedom in China. You cannot suppress freedom , you cannot. Following religion does not make u an extremist. You need to learn and understand the religion more instead of banning it. Its strange the Chinese have mastered everything yet could not master world religions and understand them instead just ban them.

No one stop anyone to follow their religions but China is not the only country that doesn't allow religious activities in public schools, if people of different faiths clash in classroom and ask for different times to practice their countless religious practices of countless religions, School curriculum will become impossible and schools, there'll be no quality teaching to start with.
