Xiaomi’s new manufacturing facility in India will dish out a phone each second

Very good news. Am a fan of Xiaomi because they are excellent value for money.

. . .
they are basically chinese rebranded products, maybe you can guess it
At least I think Freedom 251 is definitely made in India. (because there is no need to pay for the supplier, so cheap)

In fact, there are many things made in China, such as LNG ship, high speed rail, subway, super computer, communication equipment, heavy machinery, tunnel boring machine, Commercial aircraft, as well as to support the world's top 3 arms exporter's complete industrial chain....

So I think that a commodity may be cheap, but an industrial system is priceless.
Do you thinks? @alwaysright

I have Xiaomi phone and best phone for the buck. No need to defend my Chinese friends ,Xiaomi is to stay and grow in India as Indians want it.

Freedom 251 was a publicity stunt and the owner has been charged for fraud.

I admit that 1+ is good.
But there are problems with its marketing strategy. It has little place in the Chinese market. Most Chinese prefer OPPO, vivo, HUAWEI.

usp of xiaomi phones in India is their pricing, they have been successful in providing good devices in competitive pricing, why it's not doing that good in China?

The only problem of xiaomi in India is their flash sale model, most of the time they are always out of stock within minutes. They should work on their availability and after sale

@Two Oppo, Vivo are here sold mostly offline hence are not very price competitive compare to the likes of xiaomi and lenovo

Xiaomi defines itself as the Internet company, so in marketing, it put all the attention on the online sales. So it is difficult to see the physical store of Xiaomi in China. This is why Xiaomi's “hunger marketing” will be an important reason for success.

On flash sale leads to out of stock, I first learned that Xiaomi was in Taiwan. Xiaomi several times in Taiwan on sale have these problems, so I think Xiaomi is the same strategy in other countries.

Oppo and vivo conform to the trend of young people, HD pixel and high sound quality make them very competitive in the Chinese market.

PS: OPPO and vivo almost monopolized the naming rights of China's top entertainment programs.
