Both things will cancel out each other. They will distract each other.

A transparent screen is useful if it is part of a computer ( preferably rollable screen ) that allows Augmented Reality by using the imagery behind the screen i.e. in front of the user. An example is the computer from the film Red Planet :

Cant really comment unless I see one working, but AFAIK about OLED/LED/LCD screen every pixel is working so once the TV is in operation I have my doubt there will be distraction.

On an another I normally avoid 1st and 2nd gen new tech because in order to push the EPS the companies start selling products which are in development stage, kinks are improved in 2nd gen and its the 3rd gen which is better.

there is the screen then there is a butterfly on the screen which clearly depicts that when the TV is on the picture is not transparent..

Since the pic in the OP is a static one the butterfly doesn't have movement. This is a YT vid of the same TV where the imagery is moving and there is a colorful background. You can clearly find the background to be a distraction.
