T-129 is more suitable than the WZ-10 in Pakistan.
WZ-10 has just put into active service, PLA needs at least 2000 armed helicopters, Pakistan did not have time to wait so long...

you guys why so persistent on selling stuff to Pakistan? By the looks of things it seems like if Pakistan had more money they d still go for Western weapons than Chinese. And you guys talk like you get to decide if China wants to sell these choppers or not. China isn't going to sell its top of the range stuff to anyone, cause there will be chance of sensitive details leaking out to its adversaries.

We just want to maintain the current power balance between India and Pakistan imao.

In the long run, I am persuaded that Chinese equipment, in this case, attack helicopters and transport helicopters, with be the choice of the Pakistani armed forces - T129, well, you know (It won't happen, bad politics) With every passing day, Pakistan becomes more and more delinked from the West and in particular the US, However; Pakistan has a chronic problem, no, it's not the insurgency - it's poor governance - see, Pakistan is a importer of capital, it's own population does not trust it's own government (who would trust a government that refuses to collect taxes and instead borrows money it cannot repay) - sorry for the tangent, the point I was hoping to make was that, in the near future, Pakistan and West will not have a relationship that includes a security relationship, whereas Pakistan's relationship with non-Western suppliers and partners will grow.

T-129 is NOT better than WZ-10. T-129 is still in development while WZ-10 is already in service and around 80 of them in PLA. Check their armment, and flight performance. WZ-10 comes out.

They are simply in different weight classes, designed for different roles..

Only the US and Russia have heavy attack helicopters like the Apache and KA 52. Everyone else uses helicopters in the same class as the WZ 10.

Engines as usual are the bottleneck. We seriously have to invest more money into engines. A couple billion wouldn't hurt.

That is how all new engines are made. However we need to drastically improve budgets for engine development to reach parity.

I think t-129 is like.. ALOT better.

better armamant(not more.. but better),smaller so advantage of manoevrebility to us(also speed),radar is similar of that longbows use
but because of the huge size of the apache which is more designed to be heavy armoured heli to destroy tanks and all that in iraq.. survivebility is more.
