Whats so secret about this .i must say nothing.USA for past 2 yrs has beeing trying to contact various factions of taliban to bring them on the tale be it through saudis,pakistanis, or UAE.Only thing is usa dont want pakistani cooked solution to afghanistan rebooting it to 1990s again.Thats why whom so ever usa wanted to talk without taliban is either arrested by Pakistan like mullah baradar or eliminated like rabbani.

The fact is that the US asked us to facilitate meetings with the Haqqanis and failed to report this while criticizing Pakistanis to have links with the Haqqanis is paramount in establishing their half truths and the truths in their lies.

Nothing surprises me anymore. The American midset is difficult to understand and an understatement would be the goalposts change so frequently the left arm doesnt know what the right arm is doing.
I feel America are abusing Pakistan to the the point of "if its wrong then its Pakistan to blame, if its right then we deserve a pat on the back." The abuse and public humiliation that Pakistan has been put through is supreme. I blame the disgraceful leaders the Pakistani people have elected to represent them. I hope the money they have had has satisfied their pallets. By pimping our honour and soul of our nation to have people publically critisise us in the manner isnt worth all the gold in the world. They should be ashamed of their actions.

The secret is that it lays bare the stupid slogan "we don't deal with the terrorists" which was idiotically linked up to talks with Taliban and the Haqqanis (no distinction really, they are a part and parcel of the Taliban).

So the secret is that ISAF is talking with these people because they are not Al Qaida. They are the most potent resistance inside of Afghanistan and all involved have to come to terms with this.

Pakistan's solution was never the one that came about in the 90s. That was because the Afghans themselves could not work out a peaceful solution. Do you think we were going to let your side and all others push their horses and meet others expectations for us to sit on the sidelines?

That cannot happen.

Afghans are entitled to their own country but it is unfair to only ask Pakistan to lay off. Your side needs to stop using the Afghans as well as others in the country to further their own regional interests. Once that stops, then Pakistan too can back off.

After a lot of studying i have come to the conclusion that both ISI and CIA have had connections with the taliban and other networks such as Haqqani etc. or even ISI worked at the orders of CIA but now the CIA is trying to put all the blame squarely on ISI in an attempt to sway public opinion. Just my 0.02 .
