What I believe is that PPP thinks if PTI (federal government) takes control of Karachi, development will start immediately and result will be seen on grounds, making PPP and its bias against Karachi literally exposed, a situation PPP doesn't want.

So far they have cleverly destroyed city by acting innocent and making excuses here and there. They know what they were doing. Hence, fear is beginning to takes its place in their hearts.

PTI should not step back one bit...Keep pressuring PPP...Do full efforts on making forward bloc in PPP.....Take allies in interior in confidence and then move forward.

Very well put, however, let me add my 2 cents.

They also fear that not only Karachi will get out of their hands, but they will be exposed that what they couldn't do in last 12 years (deliberately), PTI & Khan might do before next election. And above all, money - the cash which they get from Federal in the name of Karachi will stop coming. Karachi is a bit fat cash cow form PPP, so a lot is at stake.

What I want Khan and PTI to focus in Karachi is,
A) Work on waste management
B) Develop sewerage system
C) Work on K4, because karachiites need clear drinkable water
D) Plant trees for heaven's sake in the concrete jungle.

I wouldn't put it past PPP waderas to block Karachi water supply. Keep in mind Karachi gets majority of its water from interior Sindh.

Hyderabad: Pakistan People's Party will not tolerate any conspiracy against Sindh, said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday while reacting to federal law minister's remarks government must invoke article 149 in order to address the issues facing Karachi.

Speaking at a press conference, the PPP chairman said after depriving Sindh of its rights, the government now plans to occupy Karachi.

"Efforts are afoot to destroy Sindh," said Bilawal Bhutoo Zardari adding that Law Minister Farogh Naseem presented a formula to occupy Karachi.

"We will not let (the government) snatch Sindh's rights," said he.

He said the government will have to go if it attempts to occupy Karachi.

Bilawal said the government plans to carry out economic massacre of federating units.

He said such measures had led to dismemberment of Pakistan in the past.

"How is it possible to control Karachi from Islamabad," said he.

"We will not let this undemocratic government work ," the PPP chairman said.

Thank you for opening this thread, saved me from doing it... these PPP scum really p1ss me off, when I hear the dog speak on T.v makes my blood boil, these Bhutto's have been a curse to Pakistan, along with the noon league thugs, who shamelessly riot in our parliament holding banners of their caporegimes, underbosses and their godfather.
