These Indians and their gullible media is in a state of shock that Trump can even give a thought about Kashmir. This was not the same Trump whom they did poja during US elections and later considered him their new bhagwaan upon his victory. The image of Trump they had in their mind is quickly changing where as for Pakistan, its a pleasant change, when it was least expected.

Whatever floats your boat. Although a few words from someone who is known to flip-flop at the drop of a hat is a pretty low standard for a diplomatic win. But I guess it is still good for Pakistan in light of it's diplomatic defeats suffered over the past few months at the UN, World Bank, and other fronts.

This is not about floating my boat because not just we sail, we flew & Abhinandan had the cup of tea due to the same Kashmir where he crossed the line. Defeats turns win & those who hoped Trump will be punishing Pakistan; are now at the receiving end. He is the same flip flop guy that Modi served the tea for the pleasure & signed number of agreements including LEMOA and recent designation of Non-NATO Major Ally. Those are the cases where India rejoiced but this.

Like I said, I am glad Pakistanis are happy with Trump's words. Although personally, I would say UNSC resolutions and international court rulings in favor of India are more substantial diplomatic victories than empty words, but I guess that is just a personal opinion. I am happy that Pakistanis are satisfied with this "victory,". Because with victories like these, who needs defeats?

Trump isn’t the typical politician and he’s managed to make the right kind of progress with North Korea and for that he deserves credit. He’s been led badly astray on Iran, but that’s another matter concerning special interests, US politics.

Mediation in Kashmir is a good idea, and the fact that Indians take great offence at this is telling of one’s intentions. We in the past had destroyed trust via acts like Kargil, but now is a different story.

That failure predates Trump. And no the objective is not to stop them getting nukes, it’s to get them to agree to freeze their programme.

And NK is not the aggressor here, they’ve been asking for negotiations and willing to make concessions if the US and SK are willing to reduce sanctions and to stop increasing military presence and threatening exercises along its border, their stance has been known for many years. Trump obliged their request for talks, had someone like Clinton been the president, it’s unclear if we would have had talks as substantive.

Their missile diplomacy is mad, I accept that. But it is all they have, even in the 90s when NK proposed to stop exporting ballistic missile designs in return for a third country to recognise them, the US under Clinton blocked that deal.

The US has a problem with both Iran and NK in their essence, not just as nuclear states. As for that particular episode, it’s a combination of neocons who love war, intense lobbying by enemies of Iran, corrupt US politicians and those in Trump’s team who fit all of the above categories. It’s why a parallel madness can also be seen in pulling out from the Paris climate accord.

Exactly, either it is the poor education or their Chanakya's philosophy and their hindtuva nature that forces them to lie & deceive. PoTUS has not altered any of his statement but these cheapos are rejoicing to fool themselves. Even during the meeting with the PM of Pakistan, PoTUS said the same that if India and Pakistan want, he is willing to mediate and then he recollected and narrated that how chhota aadmi begged Trump to mediate on Kashmir issue. Hence Trump just narrated that Modi has already sought his role and now if PM of Pakistan is also asking to mediate then he will mediate. No an iota changed from his statement. Gangadeshi are just rejoicing over nothing..but hey these are the people who declared their biggest god and started worshipping him on daily basis but then he put them in their place by revealing what Modi said behind the scenes.
