Worst Tail-Gating Experience?

I hate tailgaters- the moment some one gets too close i hit the brakes- if he hit me from behind according to law its his problem- i'll be more than happy to take the new bumper and paint job-

Bangalore traffic is just HORRIBLE. You got all these IT company cabs that transport tens of thousands to and fro work every day+ other cabs and Autos- they're all unionized in a sense. So they're out for a fight. They know that if they bash or hit your car, they can get their buddies to stand by them so they drive rash all the time. And they will win it if it's a fight, ten of them will stop to support their friend. Not one auto guy will ever come by fare and if he takes you on board he thiks he's doing you a favor. Wonder when the govt will get this stuff cleared up. It is just UNBELIEVABLE here.

It takes me 18 mins to travel 6.5km's to work. If it takes me 30mins+ that is unacceptable. Thats when I meet most of the retarded drivers especially bikes that think my car bumper is a suggestion to protect my real car. Sometimes I stop in the middle of traffic and explain to them the best way they can understand. Most of the time that explanation is fruitless as they are just habitual offenders as with all they have no sense of respect for their own property let alone others. So in the end I wasted my precious time to let out a bit of road rage. Also I have gotten swarmed by a bunch of bikers during this insanity once as well. These bikers join up their own without looking at whos at fault.

Tailgating eh?

Was going on an impromptu road trip with a couple of mates. Some assbutt behind me has his beam headlights on and is tail gating me. I'm having none of his shit so I wave for him to pass me. Following that I proceed to do the same thing to him. This guy slams on the brakes and I calmly pass the guy and continue on my way.

Would have been an entertaining stop if I too slammed on the brakes and had a confrontation with the guy.

Fail on his part. Tried slamming brakes to get insurance money and ended up embarrassing himself. :D

I guess whatever has been described so far is what an avg Indian driver commuting more than 60-70 kms in a day experiences every day.
To be honest, few sharp overtakes and cuts keep reflexes sharp.

He followed me for the next 50km with his beam headlights on. Was walking around feeling dazed afterward.

Not smart on my part either, had to go and prove my manliness to myself and all that by starting a confrontation.

Yes it teaches you to keep calm. With little practice it comes.
Driving with friends or colleagues from overseas is fun.

I've heard Chicago is over-rated anyway.

Fun for you, perhaps. For your overseas compatriots, not so much. :P

You can't find any parking besides expensive vallet. Streets are very confusing and there is heavy traffic during day. Combine with cold weather you don't want to walk.

They have nice malls and muesems but overpriced and crammed muesems. Malls only useful if you're going on shipping spree. One good thing is the food. Each block has dozens of restaurants.

People from different ethnicities means that you can get Lebanese Pakistani indian Irani Ethiopian sushi Chinese all kind of food.
