Why have two different passports? Why cannot you have one passport with only People's Republic of China.
It is not surprising that this phenomenon baffles you guys enormously, because of your lack of education and wisdom (in this aspect).
As I mentioned in many different posts, no country in the world, regardless how boastful it may be in terms of ideology, universal values, blahblah, dare to put two apparently contradictory and event hostile systems to co-exist peacefully, except China, who has the wisdom of imaging, proposing, then implementing a grand plan called “one country two systems”.
Chew on this for a while, buddy! Yes, I mean chewing on the meaning of “one country two systems”.
Dare USA the greatest implement a system that allowing two different ideologies, say, communism and capitalism, to co-exist peacefully?
Dare British or India allow a perceived hostile ideology to co-exist with their current democracy system?
No one. No matter how great or how “beacon for human” they claim to be, no country’s politicians have the wisdom to imagine and then the guts to implement it but China’s.
China allows two apparently contradictory and event hostile systems to co-exist peacefully so as for each to benefit from the other side the best, so as for each side to harvest the most from human wisdom.
That is why China can manipulate capitalism and authoritarianism to the best to fit its own situation. Thus, there is no surprise that China sustains such a high growth for such a long time, unprecedentedly in human history.
If you learnt some history, in earlier age, both UK and US had experimental societies to practice different ideologies (such as socialism, communism). That is one reason that both countries are strong.
Alas! Now the western developed countries are bogged down in ideological quagmire, busy in hunting witches, abroad and domestically roosted by lots ignorant and fanatics from within and without…
