World’s Ugliest Aircraft Designs Ever

Waitomo Airtruk
truly bizarre agricultural plane which flew first in 1965. Designed by expatriate Italian Luigi Pellarini and built in Austrailia, the Airtruk had twin tail booms, giant flaps and huge control surfaces. Versions were produced with radial and in-line engines. It was designed to be loaded from a tanker truck from behind with the engine running. A tiny cabin was provided for the pilot's assistant to be flown out to the jobsite. An Airtruk P.13 was featured at the end of "Mad Max 3: Beyond Thunderdome". A handful of these aircraft are still working today! In it's defence it was a tough and reliable plane, one pilot had one of the tails torn off in a collision and landed safely.

Caproni Stipa
From the familiar design halls of Italy's Caproni comes the naked horror of the Stipa, built in 1932 to test the thrust effect of a tubular fuselage. The 120 Hp. DH Gipsy III yielded a top speed of 81 Mph, and the lift effect of the tube made the landing speed 42 Mph.

Bell X-14
The Bell-constructed X-14 was an open-cockpit, all-metal VTOL monoplane powered by two turbojet engines equipped with thrust deflectors. It first flew in 1957, and was constructed using the wings, ailerons, and undercarriage of a Beech Bonanza and the tail surfaces of a Beech T-34 Mentor airplane. In 1959, the Viper engines were replaced by General Electric J85 engines and the aircraft was delivered to the NASA Ames Research Center as the X-14A where it was used as a test aircraft until early 1963.

what is this useless post :pop:
totally disrupted due to no scientific thing is ugliest
1) every thing have its merits and demerits
2)do you create this by your own than you say it is ugly
3)finely if this is bad so you can easily say A bomb is too....but you cant say all this in science theory............

The Valkyrie was the best high-speed bomber ever built, with the Hustler being a close second.

How can you say the XB-70 is ugly? It is an awesome plane, a mach 3 high-altitude nuke bomber...

Is this not cool? :victory:
