This is well circulated myth. The nazi party took over IBM Germany headquarters by force and subjugated the employes. The americans were allowed to leave but few key figured were held under arrest and forced to work. After the Nazi takeover, IBM germany largely functioned as independent company execpt for sourcing machines and parts illicitly from USA through middle men.

Otherwise it can be argued that Coca Cola was a nazi company too. After nazi take over, they attempted to duplicate coca cola formula and ended up creating fanta due to lack of main ingredients for coca cola.
