BVRAAM or AMRAAM ? Was it really necessary to bring India and its procurement of 2000 R77 into this? whereas the title of the thread is CLEARLY about AMRAAM and not BVRAAM?

Just recently, one of Canada's province premiere took off with over a 100 delegates to India. Now tell me, when was the last time, if ever, a canadian PM visited Pakistan? Or Obama?

I get called anti Pakistani here or Indian. But problem with this nation is, people are to obssesed with short term solution, not long term. We were so happy with talibans in Afghan and India and forgot long term consequence. Similarly, we chose nukes for short term boost and in long term our children are plagued with polio and half of Pakistani children are educated.

When we answer to God on what we did for the people, do we tell Him that we built a nuclear bomb so India (or Pakistan, vice versa) couldn't invade us or that we deprived and raped the children from health and education?

While nobly put one must realize that while expensive; the nuclear weapons are NOT the number one or two or even fifth reason why we are in the rut we are in terms of education,health and infrastructure. There are much worse reasons for Pakistan's condition than nuclear weapons but what I refer to as "over-apologists".. like to say sorry over things that really need not be said sorry over.
