World economy crisis ends: Assad Omar

. .
We do but not as much as we used to because farming wheat, cotton or sugar instead is less risky. The government has been underwriting wheat and sugar production for many years. As a result we produce more of those commodities than we need and less of other things like lentils, vegetables and fruits. We then import these products and subsidize exports of wheat and sugar! It's all a big racket!

Our population is increasing every year but our food production is decreasing. We need to allocate more land for farming and use advanced technology to double the production by 2025.
