In India we Pay 12% vat + 1% cess, this is since 2003 , 7 years.

and VAT is not levied on Basic nessasitiy, it is only applicable on luxury. DO you know in India we pay higher electricity bill if the units used are above a certain limit.
Meaning that poor should not be harmed, however if you can afford then PAY

Its the same in Pakistan..It's called slab system.You have to pay more bill if you use more units. (You get charged more per unit)

The intent of blocking nato supply is not to destroy everything, but to persuade WB that we are fighting an expensive WAR and already people are bearing a burden of high prices, in circumstances like these any increase in tax will force the already frustrated public to revolt on streets thus fueling instability that in turn will be a bonus opportunity for the militants with whom we are fighting .WB needs to understand this..
If the WB dosent cooperates than Pakistan reserves the right to Halt its Expensive and Costly Military Ops which inturn also favour Nato troops in Afghanistan. We'l save plenty and wont feel the need to ask WB for Financial assistance.

Dont give a dam to BS crap what pentagon believes. I do believe that Pakistan has made considerable security checks to safegaurd its nukes. The world happily/unhappily recognizes Pakistan as a nuclear Power. Any body having dreams of denuking Pakistan is dreadfully mistaken.
However if these Financial toughness increases and the WB also refuses to inject money than i guess we have to sell away some of our nukes to needy states like Iran NKR to make our living. Anybody who has the will is welcome to stop Pakistan. However thats highly unlikely and outlandish as such an option is and might will be excersized in a worst case scenario. I am sure the West will not prick Pakistan to a level where its forced to carry out such a step and rely on the well established underground Nuclear Proliferation Mafia for its earning, or will they..??

yes thats highly unlikely, but Pakistan is facing odd from all sides, US pressurizing PA to move in NWZ,WB pressurizing to increase TAX, Pakistan being facing an Indian hostilities along Indo-Pak border and the recent FB hysteria which could provoke millitants to launch a Jihad against America and those who standby it.
So in a worst case scenario that is ,Army being slaughtered in NWZ,US increasing Demands,Drone strikes and Bullcrap Do more Anthem, Public revolting in streets over No electricity and High prices of basic comodities, India exploiting these conditions to suite its interests,Religious fundamentals taking up Arms,Sucide Bombings increasing and the over all destabalizing factors multiply. Than Pakistan might do the unthinkable.
Better for WB and Westren powers, not to Push Pakistan towards that ugly picture.

What's wrong with world bank demands be it any country. When they give loans they try to make sure that the country is making efforts to get out of loan. Same happens with India too. I saw a video of Hillary Clinton where she said there is hardly any taxes in Pakistan and lot of people do not pay accurate taxes. Same in India politicians and businessmen has lot of black money.

About war on terror argument what I find very funny is when you benefit you say it's our when you do not say other way round so guys decide. If it is your war part of impact will be taken by you.

Indian government should first help its 400 million in poverty or the Afghans it pretends to care about.
