Not an economist but all countries of world need loan including china, turkey and russia. so its okay to have loans. cpec itself is a partial loan. Don't bother to be a loan free nation. Try to be a prosperous nation.Independence has little to do with loans nowadays.

The moment the nation will be loan-free will suggest the nation will be progressing a lot. I am hoping to see the progressive Pakistan in our lifetimes once the investment on energy sectors, power plants, economical hubs from the loans takes off successfully.
