What's new

World 10 oldest language - Tamil is No 1, Sanskrit , Hindi ??

The oldest languages are more in line with the, "click", languages of S. Africa. Vastly older, before humans even went outside Africa.

I dont know why the script matters either. They all descend from brahmi script around the Maurya era, which is only dated around 5th-3rd Century BC.

The scripts are related, the languages are not.

Yup. You are correct.

Unless Tamil is given it's rightful recognition by GOI, which will never happen. The reality - Aryan / Indians will do everything to destroy /suppress Tamil. To safeguard Tamil from this destructive force, TN has to break away from India

Did Tamil-Brahmi Originate Before Asoka-Brahmi? | Ramkumar- You and I

And what's that rightful recognition would be??? someone go to TN ask a youngster about splitting TN from India, he/she would give a slap he could never forget.

. . .
These all look same....
Malyalam Script
Tamil Script
Telegu Script
Kannada Script
Sinhalese Script
Thai Script

tamil and malayalam script are totally different, though few(very few) letter look alike between tamil and malayalam but they don't have same meaning

while telugu and kannada are like twins

What wrong with you, India is unique by unity in diversity !

It stupid to ask for separate country, then there will no India but 20 odd countries..

As a tamilian I don't ask for separate country instead freedom to use our language and not get forced upon to learn others.. That's it.

good luck to your unity in diversity fantasy, as a 7 % minority , Tamils will have to assimilate with the majority over time, , in the process be prepared to lose your culture , language etc .. the latest victim of Indian cultural hegemony was Jallikaatu ..

Jallikattu was banned by Tamil Nadu government ..

Don't worry about tamil getting forgotten
Tamil if some way got perished , it will be the last language to go in India, if you want to worry, worry about North Indian languages , they are at higher risk than tamil.
