World 10 oldest language - Tamil is No 1, Sanskrit , Hindi ??

I am a staunch Pakistani despite being the son of parents born in what became Indian territory, Lucknow, Kakori, FirangiMahal, Barabanki, Fatehpur, Rohillakhand are all pieces of our land which they have taken.

It is often hard for people to live without a proper nation to call their own, for example the kashmiris but what keeps us strong is the idea that we will one day gain the right to govern ourselves, which is perhaps the basic right of each and every being (and for my case merge those lands with Pakistan).

Yes there are Tamil muslims too but isn't the majority Hindu. Does the Hindu majority too have a negative view of India? In any case Sri Lanka is a rich country with people of many colours and religions. By the way we Pakistanis slammed the door on our own foot. Sri Lanka had on arrival visas for us but I heard due to Pakistani misuse of this policy the doors were closed shut on us. Now its just a bunch of African countries that have on arrival visas for us.

And within that The Moors, Consists of descendants from the Arab peninsular and North Africa settled through thousands of years married to local women and then you get the Eastern (Tamil) Muslims who were brought in by the Dutch colonists as indentured labor from South India mainly Tamil Nadu, Andra (Coromandel Coast) and Kerala (Malabar Coast) in the 17th century.. They are settled mainly in the Eastern and Northern provinces and Colombo, Moors of Arab descent live across the island mainly out side the North East.. Eastern(Tamil) Muslims consider Tamil as their mother tongue, While other Moors are multi lingual

Malays are a distinct ethnic group originating from the Malay peninsular and Java South East Asia, With their own culture and Language (Bhasa Malayu)

About the visa issue, Yeah from what i gathered it had to do with Drug smuggling and illegal immigration.. Lets hope things improve so that Pakistanis will get to travel without hindrance

writing systems like Jiahu and Vinca signs are 8000years old, I'm talking about the ones which were deciphered successfully.
Archeologists have not been able to date and decipher many Indian scripts as of yet.

Those symbols are considered proto-writing, not complex script like cuneiform. And archaeologist have a pretty good understanding of Indian script. It may go back a couple 100 years at most, that leaves it at oldest around 5th-6th century BC. Not 1000s of years.

Whats surprising is that the Muslims in Lanka are doing pretty well btw. I have to agree with Azizam that in most places we muslims are the poorest of the poorest and pretty orthodox because we have abandoned the process of debate and liberality. Just look at the economy of Islamic countries generally or those with large populations. Pakistan has a gdp per capita around 2 times less than Sri Lanka.

the concept of Moor as a separate ethnic group was an invention of the racist Sinhalese govt to keep the Muslims away from Tamils. It was the Portuguese who referred to Tamilnadu /Ceylon Muslims as Moor after their encountered in Iberia .
Moor have close cultural links with Tamilnadu through marriage, trade or religion. They use Arwi, a written language unique to Muslims in Tamilandu and Ceylon. Their custom include wearing thaali a marriage symbol and eating patchoru, which point to their Tamil origin. Religious sermon are conducted in tamil even in areas where Tamils are not majority
