Times change, friend. Unfortunately, most of these clerics haven't come out of 7th century and tend to think the same way as it used to be then. You tend to easily brush of the blame of obsolescence in social sphere by blaming news as "American/Western propaganda" which is not the case. As you know, Iran-related news is very rare (barring the nuclear issue that is going on) and whenever these kinds of news are released, they are released on the basis of statements officially made by the clerical leadership.

The simple reason why United States is worried is not because it fears its own security. I am surprised after seeing the American or even NATO arsenal of weapons, you talk like that. These backward clerics have only ruined Iran from the earlier days when Iran was one of the most developed countries in Asia even in early Cold War era.

I wonder why not anyone ever criticize Saudia Arabia the way Iran gets bashed all the time. In SA the things are much tougher including the rules regarding women.

One can understand when some of our American posters show these double standards when it comes to Iran and SA; they very keenly post every such report that targets Iran but they have never done the same against SA.

What I don't understand is why we Pakistanis fall for it. I ain't saying this report is not true but why can't we understand that this is just a part of Western agenda to malign Iran, they don't care about Iranian women or Muslim women for that matter, if that had been the case then you would have seen similar reports targeting SA also but has anyone ever seen even a single piece of such report against SA?? No!
This is what pisses me off that some of us blindly fall for this Western propaganda every time.

Saudis are one of their kind, the country with 'no constitution', every now & then any one can get executed or cut without any investigations

but on the other hands Saudis are one hell of money throwers, they love to throw money on prostitutes & one hell of 'gays'

they call themselves 'saviors of Makkah' but they need an 'Infidel Army' on Arabian Peninsula to save themselves from Iraq & i have no doubt that if time came Saudis won't resist an American Invasion of Iran

Show me where we bashed SA on this forum? You would very well know that Iran bashing happens here all the time.

And when I say SA never gets bashed I mean it never gets targeted in Western Media like Iran gets targeted. I didn't mean that no poster has ever said anything againt SA, obviously that is not the case, e.g EmO GiRl has just done that above and I completely agree with that.
