Woman arrested over hoax threat to stop lover’s marriage

LAHORE: A woman was arrested in Lahore for making a hoax terror call to Police for stopping the marriage of the man she loved, ARY News reports.

Sources reported that a woman named Zoya telephoned the Police and told them that a man named Asif was involved in the terrorist attack at Wagah Border and is plotting to attack the Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (S.A.W) procession.

Police initiated the investigation and Zoya’s claims were proven false.

It was found in the investigation that she did not want Asif to tie the knot with the other woman.
