To be honest though, we can't completely blame countries who are now negotiating with these extremists called the Talibans. Most of these countries are simply dealing with a fair accompli, since the Taliban have also gotten help from some neighbouring countries like Pakistan and even some locals in Afghanistan support them as well else they won't be able to gain control of many parts of the country. Even Pakistan can't be blamed much since they have been supporting Taliban for their own national interests as well. Geo politics for you.

Countries ranging from U.S, U K, Iran, Russia, China, KSA etc have all started negotiating/talking with Taliban to reach some sort of peace agreement for Afghanistan post western forces withdrawal/drawdown. They can't be blame for that as well. Since these Islamic radicals Taliban are there to stay . Just dealing with reality.
