2. OR where recently they were elected to be in the security council for 2-year tenure - specifically in charge of terrorism-related portfolios? where India won 184 out 192 votes to enter UN Security Council
3. OR when we saw several countries in the middle east move closer to them
4. OR where they strengthened the Quad and were instrumental in inviting Australia to join it too?
5. Or when Merkel and other EU leaders praised Modi and his initiatives in India?

I'm just wondering where is this image being tarnished in tangible ways?

Countries are irrelevant because they reflect their national interests - do you see Pakistan talking about Uighurs on this level?
