With tuition centres on every corner, students skip college yet score high

In the UAE, teachers have to worry about being fired and losing their visa if the school they were not upto the task.
This is why the system works in other countries. People have something to lose if they don't do their jobs well.

In Pakistan, nobody cares because there's no check and balance. At the end of the academic year, many students manage to get good marks through tuitions/coaching, the teachers got extra cash, and the college can boast great marks. Everybody's happy.

Unless students start questioning why they need to pay for something that outght to be free and why poor students do not get an equal footing, things will never change. And the academic revolution is more important than a political one. They have to compete with the rest of the world. How can they do that when our educational system is in tatters?

We didn't even go to coaching centers. We used to photocopy notes of toppers and they used to take classes in their dorm room in batch of 5-20 classmates.

Like if someone is damn good at electronics, we used to inform people that he will take classes in this room at this time.

No coaching classes needed. Hell, one of my project was made by my senior.

This is the benefit of living in hostels.

Doing this in Uni. Only problem is that most "toppers" are selfish

Most enjoyable part is taking classes from toppers 10 minutes before an exam and them outscoring them
