Becaus there is a very interesting calculatio which many might not be thinking about at this point in time but you cant ignore it expecially if pmln gets hit hard in punjab they might come up with this

All are allies and can go to any extent to save their asses ..if this coalition is formed then all they need will be 7 indp

The problem with ppp is that they hold no substantial mandate in punjab so nothing is expected from them. Hence the independents won't commit a blunder by siding with n league
