What's new

With nine independents’ support, PTI becomes largest party in Punjab -- 132 members

Pmlq also has supporr of 1 indp making total count of pronvicial seats to 8

Yeah but elhai has to withdraw either from his 2 NA seats or provisional one... I think PTI will ask him to keep his NA seat(s) which means he will be out from cm game.

Pti is having serious issues in NA seats ..they are not able to meet the requirement of 136 seats as of now ... because mqm has rejected their support and their are atleast 6 seats which pti has to leave ...i guess imran's decision to fight on 5 seats isnt proving to be a good one ... pti seriously needs someone to support them in center

They are not in a position like pmln was in 2013 where they won 129 seats and required just 8 seats ...not only they had so many ind back then to pick from (as in 2013 there were alot of indp) but also had JUIf and other parties in their support ...in the end they managed to get around 148 seats ...i.e. more than simple majority ..

Other thing was not many candidates were fighting on mutiple NA seats

Every thing is still in a swing as of now ..and with recounting going on in some constituencies there is still ambiguity in few things ...

I am personally more concerned about NA108 ..abid sher ali dont deserve a second chance

Yes situation is not so easy for NA ... Also as per news IK has ask Pervaiz Khattak to keep his NA seat as well which means he is out from cm game in kp.... But for some reasons pti seems very confident about NA red line .. I think they are anticipating 3 or 4 pmln NA victors to join pti as well... They already knows about it but for now keeping mum about it

With 3 new addons by Tareen, PTI Punjab Assembly count is 134... Pmlq already has 7 pp seats and they are with pti. But don't forget that Ch..Elahi has 2 NA seats as well and one Punjab provincial one... He has to withdraw either from NA or provisional so as Pervaiz Khattak therefore number count will change.. Also required count will go down as well accordingly
135

PPP played double game they said they will support pti in center and will oppose them in PP

Just need to clarify on this. Contesting from more than one seat wasn't that bad thing which u are talking about. See elections were held on 270 NA seats and the required count to form govt is 136. PTI won 115 and let's consider withdrawal of 4 IK seats as of now. So with this pti stands with 111 NA right. And at the same time, required NA will go down as well that is, from 136 it will go down to 132 since those 4 seats won't be considered anymore until Bi elections take place in those seats. Hence wining from more then one seat isn't that bad and this is why pti seemed confident about NA.

In 1978, she did her MBBS from the Fatima Jinnah Medical University in Lahore.[3][2] In 1984, she moved to the United Kingdom and enrolled in the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists[2] from where received a MRCOG degree in 1989 and a FRCOG degree in 1999.[3]

She then received a degree in FCPS from Karachi's College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan.[3]

She ran for the seat of the National Assembly of Pakistan as a candidate of PTI from NA-120 (Lahore-III) but was unsuccessful[6] and secured 52,354 votes[3] against then President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Nawaz Sharif who won with 91,683 votes.[1][7]

In July 2017, after Nawaz Sharif was disqualified by Supreme Court of Pakistan as Member of the National Assembly following the Panama Papers case verdict, NA-120 (Lahore-III) seat fell vacant and by-polls were called in the constituency. PTI nominated Rashid to run for the seat of the National Assembly as its candidate in the by-polls held in September 2017.[1][8] However she lost the polls to Kulsoom Nawaz Sharif.[9]
I would put her as health minister since that is her expertise and she would flourish there and also hopefully pull our shitty healthcare out of the dumps it is in!
