Do not trust them. They may be a second An Luhan. China should not repeat the mistake of Tang.

By observation on forums and write up, most off spring of mix marriage ends up taking minority identities, to qualify for state subsidies, especially lowering the points needed for universities.

Where did you learn it? Uighur and Han marriages are still extremely rare.

That's true, but it's mainly between Han and Manchu, Han and Hui... Uighurs and Han marriages are very rare, Hui and Han marriages are so common in Beijing, I don't think you can still find a single pure Hui or Manchu here.

I guess it doesn't matter, even so. Half-Uighur + Half-Han to make a "Full-Uighur" is fine. He can choose to be a Uighur or a Han (often by the parents of course). Good for him/ her.

He is the winner of the whole contest, what do you think of his English?

Uighur seem be very talented in language learning, maybe it's due to the fact that they've been exposed to bilingual environment from their early age and developed a kind of instinct for learning different languages.
Check out this Xinjiang Uighur SWAT officer mimicking American rap song.
