One of my relatives went to buy an AC yesterday in Karachi, and there seem to be no stocks available, and prices had shot up because of that.

What do you expect when you elect a non performing MQM year after year. this is politics, you align yourself with national political party and then you be able to get your share, right now neither PPP nor PMLN will do any favors to MQM and MQM will keep do same thing they have been doing for last 20 year, Mohajir ka rona and blaming everything on federal and provincial govt...why should people vote for MQM when all they can do is rona dhona, cant just people do this on their own.

It can be if government has the will to change the billing system from Post paid to prepaid. But that affects them so they won't.
