if there is any way to find an amicable divorce from the US we must find it and pursue it, time to end this delusional courting and look to rebuild with nations like china, turkey, iran and any other nations that pak can deal with.

You cannot "divorce" the US, even if 80% of the population wishes for it. We are too entangled with each other at this stage.. and quite correctly as mentioned in the American media.. Pakistan will go to hell if the Americans suddenly depart, since they are currently providing support to a large number of internally displaced people..almost 1/4th of the country is being fed thanks to aid distribution by US forces. Most of your garment industry exports to the US. A large number of students were and still are able to get quality education because of USEFP..

You should recognize Israel.. afterall around 80% of your F-16's avionics spares came from Israeli sources during 90's embargo..
Also.. contrary to a post saying the F-16's are a stop gap.. till 2030 they are your primary punch throwers and will perform most of the Interdiction and OCA missions in a war against your favorite enemy. So even if it results in a month long chaos.. burnt American and Israeli flags.. ransacked KFC's and general havoc... it will be worth having a source for supplies for your sucker punch against the east if it ever comes to that.

Pakistan has not ruled out recognising Israel. However, it will only recognise Israel only when a soverign Palestinian state is created. As for an embargo, it will all depend upon the position in which the U.S. finds itself dring the war. If it's still stuck in Afghanistan and depends upon Pakistan for it's supplies, it will not place an embargo but will force the two parties to talk it out or atleast call for a cease-fire. If the U.S. is out of Afghanistan by then, the PAF will not be the only institution that will be embargoed.

Yet... since Pakistan does not possess the capability so far to do anything to Israel as such.. and time and time again Israel has made overtures. it may be better to be less emotional and more Machiavellian in approaching Israel. And accept relations under the guise of being interested as a non-arab Muslim mediator.
