I am not surprised. In fact, i had debate over this topic extensively. Those Imranistan were living in dreamland. At the end, the prosecutors will have to provide concrete evidence regardless of whether the story of defendant checks out or not.
Let me repeat once again. It doesn't matter if people say about PMLN. It only matters what people can prove about PMLN. Unfortunately like Imran Khan, his followers seem to be living in the cuckoo land where the protocol will be based on 'presume guilty until proven innocent' while real world follow the basic protocol 'innocent until proven guilty'.
I have read the thread all kind of information provided by Imranistan and narrative on PMLN, but at the end, they all are speculative at best. They don't count in the real court. Real evidence in form of concrete evidence counts in the real world. The sooner Imranistan steps out of cuckoo land, the better for them in the long run.
Corrupt leaders can be taken to the court. But it has to be based on the evidence.Without evidence, you cannot just presume guilty based on generalization at best.
Many have been caught, but mostly due to their stupidity. Those names you mentioned are smart enough not to leave the trail behind. They can enjoy their freedom for the time being until the appointed time, but at the end, the final court belongs to God. Ultimately, it will be God's call to decide.
Some have been arrested in Canada recently. One political leader was caught in the past. They weren't smart, hence got caught very easily leaving the trail behind which traced back to them eventually. I am sure that corrupt leaders in Pakistan will face their fate one day, and that day they will be accounted.
If not now, then maybe later. But making accusation without evidence? That is outright stupidity. Then again, i am not surprised given the nature of Imran Khan and his lawyer who came unprepared in the court proceeding.
But in the alternate world, it is possible to prove.
For that, a treaty between Pakistan and England is needed where Pakistan can yield its influence over UK partly with the cooperation of UK and vice versa for accountability on certain clients that are suspect on the charge of black money. That's where the game ends for PMLN and everyone who allegedly have black money stashed.
