Will India ever be a "real" super-power?

Your first article is, unsurprisingly, of Indian origin - it predicts India's rise to superpower status in "20 years", and it was posted in 2004... so India SUPA POWA 2024!!

Woohoooooo!!! It's finally happening guys!! Only 11 years left!

Your second link is a Wikipedia article - my analysis is LOL

You are a poor reader. It is times of India article but Times of India has Just quoted Jeffrey Armstrong . It is not Times of India's editorial.

India should try to buy Rafale using PPP instead of nominal exchange rate.

You want to know why these types of topics arising Will India ever be a "real" super-power?

Here is the answer......
Think about your statement India should try to buy Rafale using PPP instead of nominal exchange rate..
Then a question arise... How to stop the loss of nominal GDP due to this??
Answer is Indigenisation as rapid as possible (before 2030)....
Indigenisation will lower the dependency and economic burden... Also the economy growing... Thus there is a chance india become a big economy... Then the super power topic arise.....

There is an another side also...
Again take your statement India should try to buy Rafale using PPP instead of nominal exchange rate..
India's wealth is keep on leaking by these types of deals.... Then condition will not improve...

THAT IS OUR FUTURE IS IN OUR HANDS.... Arising these type of topics are very very positive.... Then only we can grow.... Necessity is the mother of inventions... Aim sky as limit then you will get something na??? As long as we have hope these types of topics will arise....

If India, why not China?
If the British could take all China as easily as India, they certainly would.

Force feeding you opium was far easier... ;)

And the occasional gun boat did the rest.

Though I have only contempt for those colonialists and what they did in Asia, such zombies deserve even more contempt...

The name India denotes a geographical area. Not a country. Socrates was correct.
As a country, it was only created in 1947.

Socrates! ;)

Does it come along with the forced one kid policy or is it in the little red book?

And we don't care if your arse is on fire, India is here to stay as a proud country and civilization.

While the buffer zones fritter away and China is back behind the inner wall.

We fought the Japs for 8 years. You did not even have a country to fight for :yahoo: :yahoo:

You didn't fight.

You were being massacred and rolled over.

Anyway, we have sympathy for the victims of WW2 and that uncalled for loss of life and misery for so many people all over the world.

Chinese were one of the largest victims of WW-2 and our sympathies to them and any other victims all over the world.

Only a pathetic fool and zombie will try to score pathetic cheap points on such issues.

India worry too much about coming up with final product and neglects basic research. Its likely that final product can cover corruption but basic research for scientific purposes bring no kickbacks.

India should buy the products off the shelve while focus on basic research. India is way behind in basic technology such as materials and lack a supply chain. India need to develop its manufacturing base and build bullets and guns completely before worry about building an advance fighter.

Thanks for your concern.

Now go back to your hole.

If we didn't fight, how did we slaughter 2 million japanese soldier? Look, China has always been a sovereign country, we will sacrifice as many as it takes to defend our sovereignty. That's a hallmark of a great nation. Sympathy from British slaves are not appreciated. In fact, it's very badly frowned upon, especially from these are people who had been slaves for the last 1000 years, they were conquered and raped by Afghans, Persians, Turks, Mongols and all other central asians. The death tolls were so great that they invented zero as an expression of infinity :laughcry:

Guy, we have already build an advance fighter. It is a single engine fighter and carries just more than double payload compare to your overhyped J 15 (Twine engine) It uses Advance material in its body which very few other country has done so far. We are making progress and bridging the Gap with best in world very fast. We have catch up with many and going to catch up with remaining.

@INDIC @shuttler @Fattyacids @seiko @Chinese-Dragon
You guys don't get bored of discussing the same topics over and over. I mean seriously, are you guys that kiddish. No matter what the topic is you end up discussing India and China.

It was indian members who started the trolling, especially @ Indic. Look at all his post history, he is a broken record, trolling on the same topic over and over again.

What basic technology are you talking about like copying Nokia phones as Nokla phones. :laughcry:

Chinese were feeble without the help of their liberators USA, USSR and Britain. You could have done nothing if these three countries hadn't come to rescue China.

How about making blades for high performance engine. India is trying to be a superpower too quickly. Too much talk and no action. In another word, brag too much.
