Will Afghans ever go back to Afghanisan?

Actually they r goin back .
I encountered many afghans in quetta narrating of going back to afg , but many are still here for their reasons.

Refugee crisis is indeed a deep issue with any nation, since it's around 3 decades now, it will be almost impossible to send back Afghanistan refugees and illegal immigrants back to their motherland since they would have quite intermingled and entangled within Pakistani society.

I am saying this after having first hand experience seeing East-Pakistan/Bangladesh refugees and some illegal immigrants in and around Kolkata and West Bengal. Even after Bangladesh became an independent nation in 1971, a large group of refugees choose to slip in and remain within India and till date we couldn't do anything about them. Given this scenario, it will be a herculean task if ever Pakistan want to send back majority of Afghanistan refugees.

Talking about burden, how about sending all those people that said "Pakistan Murdabad" and asked India to support them. Shouldn't we be sending these people and their supporters back to India as well.

No, since they are Pakistani citizens now.

We can prosecute them for sedition or in our case "make then disappear" but won't push them out.

Afghans arent that much of annoying or trouble .
I have some sort of sympathy as they have a ruined country and get kicked from one country to another nd due to lack of job they indulge in illegal works . I only hope better for them and dont mind them coming to pak for earning but again im not sure will they be this generous to us as we e with them .
I personally find pashtuns innocent nd honest , u cant hate whole nation for few .

I used to have the same view(Islamabad has a significant Afghan population/problem) but now they will face the music for their govt wrong doings

I have a theory on this. Maybe our government cannot send them back because they don't have a plan or mechanism in place to find all the Afghans, and deport them. A whole lot of them have spent years buying Pakistani ID cards. Its difficult to check if ID card are real or fake, and its not like all the Afghans are sitting in one place.

90% fake ID cards cancelled rest soon be cancelled but problem is Pakistan keeping Afghan refugee as bargaining or influence chit to gain favors against NDS and R&AW nexus from US / Afghan Govts.

If you are not aware then let me tell you, around several hundred thousand ID cards has been blocked earlier and are being checked by security agencies and NADRA. They all will be thrown out sooner or later.

Sorry, I beg to differ. It's not that easy as you may think. Most of the refugees are so intermingled that they might have surely made marital association between the local people and what will you call their offspring's, what will be their nationality ??? It's lot more emotional than practical, too difficult and complicated a target to achieve effectively.

True, an education system which keeps religious studies confined to religious institutions and give prime importance to other streams of study.

If this can be achieved, down the road this new generation will be the one who will kick out all thoughts of religious extremism fro their land.

Pakistan doesnot give nationality maternally if husband is from one of the 6 countries Afghanistan is one of them

I disagree.

Any Pakistani whether Punjabi, Sindhi, Pukhtoon or Urdu Speaking cannot have his/her citizenship revoked unless he chooses it himself.

If someone chants Pakistan Murdabad then that someone should be charged with sedition as a Pakistani citizen.

I would go as far as to say any Baloch chanting the slogan should not be even tried.... they are an oppressed community and the state has been totally complicit in that opression along with the sardars.

Wouldn't be too hard, plenty of Afghans have established property and livelihoods.

As bad as this sounds, any Pakistani NADRA employee who sold cards has his/her skin peeled off and crucified in front of the NADRA office.
Any Pakistani who "outs" an Afghani is given ~50% of their property.
Any Pakistani who hides an Afghan has his/her property confiscated and released only if 50% of it's value is paid.

Any afghans have until spring to get their affairs in order. Because the consequences start right after.

The Afghans have a choice of crossing into Afghanistan, China, India, or Iran.

Given the circumstances, looks like Pak has almost no other choices other than expelling the Afghan folks and completely sealing the border sine die. I am pretty sure some folks are planning to unleash an unimaginable terror wave on Pak. In fact, President Trump has given Pak a golden opportunity....

Kabuls problem not Pakistan! As someone rightly stayed, thousands of Pakistanis from the Gulf Arab states are returning, Pakistan needs to look after them first.
