What's new

Will 2012 be the end of Lollywood?

I wonder what is indian film industry???Is it bollywood??is it tollywood??Is it kollywood??is it mollywood???is it kannada, bhojpuri, bengali, punjabi, marathi, maithili film industry???What you call as indian is not actually indian its the combination of south india's all local fiml industry like lollywood and then that of sirilankan film industry, nepali, bangladeshi film industry. What you are doing is falsely claiming it as indian when it has every countries film industry its like India claiming indian ocea, bay of bengal, arabian sea all its oceans when water pours into these sea is from all the countries of the south asia. You are claiming a common heritage of south asia only as india's which it is not.its like thievery of cultural legacy of south asia.

Every film that comes out India by Indian producers, directors, associated crew is a product of Indian film industry.

There is nothing "south asian" about it. No "combined heritage". It is exclusively " Indian". Foreigners may work in some of its projects but that doesn't mean it becomes a "shared heritage of south Asia".

.
Kate Winslet is British
Hugh Grant is British
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Catherine Zeta Jones are Welsh
Tons of Canadian actors
Penelope Cruz is Spanish
Mexican actors

And Hollywood is not American?
there is a difference.Hollywood is attached to american cultural ethos and values hence it is american.but what you call as indian film industry has cultural values and ethoes which are not property of india alone its the shared legacy of whole of south asia.

.
Do you think that its only indian money involved in bollywood etc?Think about it.
I give up, you will bring Dawood's and other underworld gang's money too.....

All of the above.

??What you call as indian is not actually indian its the combination of south india's all local fiml industry like lollywood and then that of sirilankan film industry, nepali, bangladeshi film industry.

The industries of the other countries are their own. Nothing to do with India.

There is no South Asian film industry.

You are confused. this argument is beyond pathetic.

South industry is totally diiferent from bollywood rather bollywood has mare in common with pakistan than south like wise bengali movie industry has more in common with bangladesh as compared to punjabi ones which is common to india pakistan.Tamil industry is common to tamilnadu and sirilanka.so when various film industries on southasian landmass are spread across borders then it makes common heritage as south asian film industry rather than indian film industry.

That analogy is beyond the grasp of ur tiny brain.

The question of "common" doesn't come into the picture.

India is one nation and all of these various film industries are Indian.

There is no South Asian film industry despite your pathetic mental gymnastics.

Even people in countries as far as Peru may watch Indian movies. They still remain Indian movies.

Any similarities in culture doesn't take away from the fact of nationality.

That analogy is beyond the grasp of ur tiny brain.

Don't worry about the sizes of my anatomy and I won't worry about your sizes.

The existence of different nations is a reality despite any past or present commonality. It is a current industry, not some past shared history that we are talking of.

Pak cricketer mohsin khan in movie saathi.NAZIA HASSAN of AAP JAISA KOI MERI ZINDAGI,Zeba Bakhtiyar in hina movie, atif aslam, ali zafar of mere brother ki dulhan, srilankan actress in murder 2 and in houseful2 ,rahat fateh ali khan, nusarat fateh ali khan, monaliza in aap ka suroor.veena malik, meera, sana,i forgot bol movie actress, moreover nepali actresse like manisha koirala etc.

You forgot US/UK and the whole world. there was this firang chick in RDB, not to forget all the firang chicks acting as extras, so actually Indian film industry is not Indian film industry but it's 'World Film Industry' damn I am proud :rofl:

Pakistani singers may come to Bollywood but Bollywood actors or singers don't go to Lollywood(except Naseeruddin Shah in Khuda ke liye). At the same time there is lot of exchange between all Indian regional movies either stories, actors, singers, studios etc. I have heard Sonu Nigam singing Kannada Songs, or Asin working in Hindi movies, Asihwarya Rai working in Bengali movie Chokher Bali, Jackie Shroff in Malayalam movies, Mani Ratnam making Hindi movies.

So, Indian film industry's is only India's legacy no one else's and difference from Lollywood or Dhallywood.

.
I think AJTR don't believe in existence of India, atleast these posts of her point to that.

but in real life these all fatty women look beautiful really ,i had seen saima and najma they came for shooting in PC hotel and were luking so beautiful .........

With my limited understanding of American history, this nation shares their cultural values and ethos predominantly with Europe. So using your logic Hollywood is European Film Industry..isn't it.

.
i didnot like saima whenever i saw her films but when i saw her live on shooting i became fan of her .....
