What's new

Why we prefer English over native language...Even in our personal Discussions.

Don't promote your language here. Do it elsewhere. Here, you are supposed to write in English. Ask the Mods. And if you have to write your own language in Roman script, get the nuances correct: jaye gi, for instance, not jaye ghi. Ghi, for your information, is clarified butter.

Now, for the second time, go home. If you can't write English, you don't belong here.

@Hamoon

Which part of 'Go away' did you not understand? Ask that sort of a question in some general purpose forum. I'm sure you'll find which will let you be a member.

Well that's because English is the most spoken language worldwide and if I started speaking creole,french
no one would understand me. Some Pakistani have a hard time understanding hindi and some indians can't get urdu too.

49% of Pakistan can speak English, I would be fine if I ever moved there.

the 49 percent will drop to around 5 percent if you want to have a proper conversation, heart to heart.. so no, you will miss out a lot.

There are n number of other valid reasons like neglecting our own language, technical usage ...etc. But one thing is we are a very diverse set of ppl. A pakistani or Indian might speak 3 or 4 languages but there will still be a lot of ppl whom he cant connect to in his own country. English is that bridge language. English one language with different slangs.

By the way when you say personal it means friends or colleagues but not family rt?

49% of them can have a basic conversation, all I need to get through basic life. When it comes to talking to friends, I am sure I can find people who can have a wonderful conversation in English in Islamabad.

Thanks, although I don't think I am going to move to Pakistan anytime soon, or anywhere for that matter. I'm fine where I am.
