Some pics abt the plot for new US embassy. Seem like the plan to build the new embassy already had abt ...20 years ago, otherwhile, its impossible to find a big area like this near the center of Ha Noi now.

The plot has 4 fronts, full view of Cau Giay Park According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, yesterday, during the visit of US Vice President Kamala Harris to our country, the Hanoi People's Committee signed a land lease contract with the US Embassy to build a new headquarters in Cau Giay District.

The plot of land the US Embassy rented to build the headquarters has 4 fronts. In which, one side is adjacent to Pham Van Bach street opposite the headquarters of the Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion and the Supreme People's Procuracy; one side is adjacent to Cau Giay Park, only one road away; The other two sides have large roads covered with asphalt, and sidewalks with trees.

Former US embassy in Iran was At 104 acres (42 ha), it was the largest embassy in the world, and is nearly as large as Vatican City.
