Why the US should support India's claim in Kashmir over those of Pakistan and China

There will always be leaders and people in the West who will stand up for democratic rights of Kashmiris. But not many are going to endorse that Kashmir should be given to Pak.

Just because you say so doesn't mean that this is factually correct.

The support that India gets is mainly from far right fanatics who hate Islam in general. That is hardly many. It is some, but not many. Having far right support is not something to be proud of.

India also uses fake NGOs to spread lies in European nations.

US will do like it always did, look after its own interest , for now their major interests are :

1) Containing China Via India
2) Get some sort of face saving Victory in Afghanistan
3) Keep insurgency Alive in Pakistan
4) Keep Poking in Pakistan's internal matter
5) Try to disturb the relationship between China and Pakistan
6) try to keep Pakistan as a slave cum Ally
7) Make sure China and Russia doesn't over-take its position in Afghanistan
8) To maintain a Balance between both by supporting India and Pakistan's stance over Kashmir
9) Make sure Pakistan and India keep investing in their Think Tanks and Lobbying firms
10) Make sure Kashmir issue never resolved .

All this while the rest of India burns with Citizenship Bill.

That's just India's image around the world. You might be able to dent it a bit but it would be a massive task to completely change that image.

Again image of a country is created based on its history and civilization of last thousand of years...Modi and BJP will come and go but our culture of tolerance is not goinh away because some nations are feeling uncomfortable with us..

IMO, we have a culture of tolerance as far as there is segregation based on religion, ethnicity and caste. This segregation is not compatible with 21st century values. Inter caste marriages are still frowned upon as are inter religious ones. That's why India's secular Constitution is so important - it pushes society in the right direction.

USA, UK, France, Russia - all have supposed India's stance on Kashmir that the issue should be resolved bilaterally. Even China says it every now and then.
