Why schools, colleges and universities?

As they say everything is fair in love and war, they(terrorists) will hit anyone and everyone if it hurts us the most. The schoolchildren or University students are the targets which will make major headlines in every country.
So they want everyone to see that they are here and they will do anything. I personally don't think it has to do with their hatred for education, it has more to do with their revenge on citizens of Pakistan.

Right. Then why don't we go with same rule too? Everything is fair in love and war. I think it does. It's not about hatred for education, but they can't see Pakistani youth to compete with world in education. Education helps in improvement of countries/societies and make them stronger. This they can't see happening in Pakistan.

By the way ... unique thing about charsada incident was that students and teachers retaliated... they try to fire back... this is a huge blow back to terrorists... If that becomes the norm... no one will dare attack because nation that fight backs can't be messed with...We have to make sure that if confronted with this situation then we retaliate...

GREAT! But I fear of seeing guns in hands of students. We take advantage of almost everything.

They want to hamper our progress as a country, so many of our enemies want this, so everything is at stake education, business, tourism, health etc. I think state should be more clear about their policies. We cannot let them win.

I am not talking about securing each and every school, but least schools with vast #s of students and schools/universities/colleges are in big cities. We can't just leave the situation and do nothing. I understand this too, this is impossible to protect every single schools of a country. We still need to make plans to protect schools.

For instance take H-8(GSIS,BEACON,CITY,LGS,PAKTURK and more) sector and H-11 /12(NUST,FAST,Al-HUDA,ISLAMIC etc) sectors in Islamabad. So many Large schools and unis in one place, which makes them easy to protect, heck there are mg nests and rangers patrolling all the time. But recently other large schools are popping up here and there which is not good. This needs to be stopped and Islamabad model needs to be followed, If we want to protect the most schools no matter the cost
