These "private visits" have now stopped

Any idea why??

They wanted to appoint Nadeem Anjum through US. He was closed to PPP. Later dispute Khan reservations, he insisted to install Nadeem Anjum as DG ISI. Since then till date, PPP never critisize Army or ISI. Their man is already on charge. No need of further tours.

Note: since Regime changed, Bilawal Zardari dis 40+ foreign trips and highest number of trips to US by any FM if any country with in that time of span.

Funny enough there were a few personal visits to Washington from the GHQ also around a week after Imran Khan met Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
