Story here, excerpts below:

When Prime Minister Narendra Modi lands in Kabul later this month, he will arrive in a war-torn country facing its most serious crisis since 9/11.

...

Though the Prime Minister’s official reason for visiting Kabul is to inaugurate the Parliament building India gifted to Afghanistan after 9/11, its significance is far larger. Afghanistan is looking to the world for assurances that it will not allow the Taliban tide to sweep away their lives—making the message Modi gives them critical.

...

Islamabad’s compulsions are simple. Pakistan can’t risk the Afghan Taliban joining hands with the Pakistani Taliban networks, and the Islamic State led by Khan Saeed, who want to overthrow the government. That could end in a war larger than the Pakistan army is prepared to fight. It is simply in no position, therefore, to restrain the Taliban.

Put bluntly, the Taliban’s reins aren’t in Pakistan’s hands—they’re tied, instead, to a certain other intimate part. There’s little chance, therefore, that the reins will be pulled.

...

India has listened to Afghanistan’s pleas for help, providing four ground-attack helicopters. It is also considering appeals for second-hand tanks, armoured transports and artillery—even at the cost of irking Pakistan.

This will, however, be only a small part of what Afghanistan needs, so Modi’s real challenge will be to push the world community, including regional powers Iran and Russia, to step up aid.

If indians are so worried about afghans why dont they send some 10,000 troops to afghanistan and help them fight taliban?

There is a better way.
Taliban is nothing but a proxy for Pakistan Army. We ratchet up tensions on our side of the border which will ensure Pakistan Army's support to terrorists/taliban diminishes.

Can i quote this for my book?

thanks, this confirm my point of indian average IQ below 90.

India should open up more schools and hospitals in the region, only an educated mind will be immune to religious extremism, and pave the way for a better future for Afghanistan.
Really dude ? Osama was engineer and Ayman Al Zawahiri is doctor and that dumbo Daesh head is PHD those who did 9/11 we highly educated including one from Harvard and I can go on and on

They had their own agenda, and they used religion to misguide the masses to succumb to their motives. What is the basic educational level of the layman foot troops of Taliban or ISIS?

There are exceptions every where but what he suggested is quite useful

We're not stupid! Sending troops will not sort out what is essentially a political problem. It's talks and discussions with all affected parties which can provide closure to this imbroglio, not fire power or boots on the ground.

Well.. we have hassled Pakistanis so much with building better ties with Afghan community.. why waste troops...as long as afghans sing Indian National anthem with love... the ROI is great.. unfortunately this is what world powers never understood.... why send soldiers when poets can do a better job at winning harts... it takes time.... but benefits are huge.

Your answer only shows you have no idea about what's going on. Good Luck with resolving the issue in next 100000000 years

Than you also have no idea about the situtation. This suggestion would not change anything

The schools and other infa help the Afghans.
Afghanistan is not anti India, they have their religion and practices, we only want good strategic relations with that country.

Regarding their beliefs:

It is not because of education or poor, it is because of commands given in their book.

They believe in that and they will do every thing based on their book. The book says if you give your effort, money and life for the sake of Allah. You will be rewarded in mass.

The life is like a small tough phase for them before they go to Jannah.

So what is the possible solution according to you
Do you think surrendering to Talibans is going to do any good to normal Afghans?
And Pakistan?
