Why Israel has no muslim ministers?

I was searching about the history of Israel and it was interesting to see that (correct me if i am wrong) only once a muslim has became minister in Israel (Raleb Majabele) to the symbolic place of a minsiter without portfolio. Since muslim Arabs are a considerable minority i would expect more muslims to become ministers in Israel. This is in contrast to Arab countries that have seen christians becoming prime ministers. Why Israel is so backwards here?

Bcz Israel is a Democratic country, not a sharia laws land.
For your info, there is a system in every Democratic country. It's called "election" and its all about people support.

i can say when i know how many muslim leaders participate in elections just like in Pakistan we have less then 3 % christains and same for hindus but we do have Hindu and christian ministers in every govt because we have reserved seats for minorities even islamis parties in Pakistan have non muslims with them.

u indians should stop giving lectures on democracy to every one, first learn democracy then implement it in india then lecture other and stick to the thread.

Simple reason: Arabs in the Israeli Parliament refuse to join other political parties and sit at any elected coalition and instead remain constant in the opposition without really benefiting the Arab population of Israel. All they do is noise and trouble in the parliament and receiving Israeli tax money for contributing nothing nor to their Arab electors and the left-wing parties and nor to the rest of the Israeli citizens. The Arab population really deserve better then those clowns that only cause provocation while costing the Israeli tax payers about 15,000$ per month.

It's the nation of Israel on its ancestral lands. They're the good side.

It is not representative nation. More non Jew lives in that nation than jew.
Jew are cursed by the God. So they were unable to really make it a nation of Jew.
