What's new

Why is South India paying for North India

We wete outnumbered by our OWN.

Persian on Persian.

Not desi studs like you. Lol

Doc you guys were such utter pussies, you couldn't even keep your own Aryan race Persian language intact and had to switch to a lesser brown 'desi' language.

.
And then you became Param Hindu.

It would be churlish to deny a ancestral cousin that right.

It's inevitable over 1000 years.

Till about the 1600s we still spoke Persian.

The Qissa was written in Persian.

As were the Riyavats.

As I told a Persian blood brother once during a heated fight. He was using a line much the same as you.

I told him put a chimpanzee in Iran and by its second generation they will be speaking Persian.

What does it prove?

Doc you shift the goalposts a lot. Why did you bow down to speaking a desi language like Gujarati and give up your mighty Aryan language in which your Zarathustra spoke? Seems like a certain lack of balls.

No but the Muslims were able to impose Persian on India, why couldn't your Parsis impose it in Gujarat? Did they not have the balls for such an endeavor?

Zarathustra spoke Avestan though closer to Sanskrit than Persian.

Because we did not come here as invaders.

And the fight with Islam continued here. Even with our reduced numbers.

I see it as a foot trying to stamp out a fire.

Embers still remain.

A fire rages elsewhere.

A vengeful fire.

But the embers of the good fire hold on. And it's those which will bring peace back to Iranian lands (not just modern Iran) as the bloodlines come back to the true path of Asha.

Against the backdrop of our history and three world empires, 1000 years is just one empire lost.

Persian is a continuation of Avestan. It's not a foreign tongue. Just an alien script. Which is why Zparsis will never accept it. And over the centuries never used it for our holy texts.

And eventually moved away from it altogether.

Only the Iroons still speak Dari. That too a codified version to escape the Qajjars.

Cool interpretation Doc but this time the Empire seems to be lost permanently though the Yarsanist Kurds in Barzani's Kurdistan may give you hope.

Sure but evolved a lot (a gap of ~3500 years), Sanskrit is closer to Avestan in grammar, lexicon and morphology.

We will see.

Iran is big on cataclysmic revolutions.

And there is a very powerful expat population wanting to come back and seize their land.

And of the expats, few are even nominally Muslim.

We will see.

We are still there.

Our Avesta and Gathaa and Vendidad have survived. From father to son.

Persian bloodlines still there. A nation and a regional power.

And growing nationalism and a disenchantment with Islam. Even their Zoroastrianized version not satisfying them anymore.

We will see.

I had asked you this before, why didn't Indian Parsis migrated when Shah was ruling? I think He was deeply into ancient Persian thing.

.
That sounds quite familiar... Where have I heard it? Oh yes. That's what people from Karachi say about Punjab no?

You are right. North India is a drag on South India. But punjab is a much bigger drag on Karachi ( revenue figures ). Please give Karachi nationhood and lead by example. Give South India some hope along with all these worries.
uhm, sucks to be you cuz you quoted a karachitte who has punjabi in laws so I can tell you first hand that no one in karachi thinks that way save a few indian sponsored mqm freaks.

Many Parsi industrialists had started investing in Iran.

There has always been contact.

Even recently we met Rouhani and his team when they came here.

Their Ayatollahs still pray at the holy fire at Chak Chak. For them it's part of their culture. They do not see it (conveniently) as Zoroastrian.

Just like our Faravahar.

There was never an issue of going back after the Qajjars.

But then the revolution happened.

Is this inspired by "Hum dekhenge"?

Hey sir,

I had some questions. Wouldn't Iran be a safer place for you than volatile India? You have a government which keeps picking fights with Pakistan, China, and BD, it is a recipe for disaster. Gujurat is especially vulnerable to PN.

Iran still has a very large Parsi community, and they are very close to their roots, although many have no qualms intermarrying Muslims or speaking Farsi.

Parsis live all over the Muslim world, it is not a problem for you.

Who are Iroons? Are you referring to Iranians or Pukhtoons? Dari usually is the language spoken in Afghanistan and formerly was spoken in Pakistan before British.
