The US had the nerve that you dont. Secondly, they wanted to see how exactly nukes work in battlefield and how effective they would be, the scale of damage they can create etc. the world didn't much about nukes at that time.

But this doesnt apply in the modern world. If US was just like how it was in WWII, the Abbotabad too would've been nuked by now, what came in wouldn't be stealth choppers,

Grenades emit both explosion and relative smoke that comes later. But pakistan is using just a smoke bomb
