Pakistan sees India as its religious rival and China sees India as its economic rival and both of them are reluctant to have a peaceful coexistence with India. But I don't see any confrontation happening b/n India and China in near future as Chinese would rather fight India to the last Pakistani.

呵呵·是啊，国内一些论坛’闲人‘太多了，动不动就骂人给人戴帽子··主要还是缺乏管理，这里有很多管理员，过分一点的帖子都会被删掉或者本人会被关黑屋····好了。

还有少去关于印度的帖子里掺和，以免一些别有用心的三锅把你拖下水。不过这里关于军事的帖子挺好的，可以学到很多东西！

Historically, "India" was nothing more than a combination of many mnay different tribes/kingdoms in the subcontinent - so there wasn't an "India"historically.

Unifed "India" only existed , for relatively very short periord of time when foriegn invading forces went there to unite them.

This current "India"was united by teh British. And you want them to fight their British masters?


China, on the other hand, is unique, which has been unified by Qin Shi Huan Di thousands years ago into ONE China.

There wasn't ONE India even 60 years ago, you get the message?

And for that matter in majority of the history of the Subcontinent.

Yes, you being an officer are someone I can have a good discussion with. I agree, ISI does maintain ties with the Haqqani Network. This is because they are not fanatics, thus they are easier to deal with. They are highly respected in Afghanistan so being associated with them gives us some leverage in Afghanistan and another factor is that the Haqqanis, unlike the main body of the Taliban do not desire to launch a campaign of territorial expansion. This is the very reason the USA has also been negotiating with them since 2007 and so has the ISI. In fact in 2007, America asked the ISI to "Play it's part" in maintaining peace in Afghanistan by bringing the Haqqanis to the negotiating table. Negotiations lasted over a year but broke down when the Haqqanis were asked to fight against Mullah Omer's forces. This however does not mean that the ISI provides them with any sort of intel, training, weapons or ammo.

Care to mention any of our mischievous deeds ? I remember in the 80s India would distance itself from Afghanistan but now it seems as if none other than itself have Afghanistan's best interests at heart. Could it be because your master(USSR) is now gone ?

India did have good relations with govt of Afghanistan in 1980s,its only the govt 1990s we did not recognize.

As for USSR being our master,we never joined any of USSR security plans,we never played any cold war games for them or have any of their bases.
In fact we even criticized their invasion of Hungary.
