Why is Chahbahar not burning?

I do not have unflinching devotion for him, so yeah, viewed from an objective lens, maybe it would be WaY hIgHeR tHaN mY uNdErStAnDiNg. As I said before, do not detract from the discussion whose scope is confined.

Your objective lens is bit cloudy, so is your judgement.

Good day.

Does iran harm Pakistan directly? It will be stupid of Pakistan to go on blaming iran. And mere words and blame statements don't have any weight nor matter, if you really really wish for them to respect Pakistan, then there needs to be solid action at part of Pakistan to influence their strategy. Solution to that doesn't exist within Pakistan's boundaries. What Pakistan has common with the rich Muslim countries is Islam, exploit that.
Does Iran harm Pakistan directly? Short answer ABSOLUTELY. RAW is using that country as a springboard for subversive activities in Balochistan. It does not just stop there, Iran has given a free rein to BLF militants to use its soil for launching attacks into Balochistan (and the objective appears to be ensuring that the potential of Gwadar remains untapped favoring its own ports like Chahbahar, Bandar Abbas; the statement of Iranian diplomat on the subject should be self-explanatory in this context) and using it as a sanctuary. Radical Shias are being used in Pakistan to DIRECTLY spy on Pakistani military assets. It would not be a distant assumption to make if one says this intelligence would also be getting in the hands of Iranian allies, i.e., the Indians via Iranians. Then there's the hiring of radical Shias as proxies for waging wars in the middle east at Iran's behest.

Maybe, one could also state that India is not harming Pakistan directly if such a liberal approach is taken as in the case of another enemy state, i.e. Iran.

Your objective lens is bit cloudy, so is your judgement.

Good day.
We could argue about the "virtues" of mard e momin another day under whom we lost Siachin, but please spare this thread whose scope of discussion is narrow.

For all those who like to burn the Chabahar port!..

Chabahar port development is part of a much bigger development by Iran to spend $$$billions on the MAKRAN coast line..India's $$ in chabahar is a drop in the bucket..

Besides being a port where part of it is operated by India
  • Chabahar is the site of Iran's coming "Space city" and 2nd "Space port".
  • The site of a massive Petrochemical plant
  • The site of Chabahar International University
  • The site of an Iranian Naval base.
So there is no need to burn anything....Chabahar and Gawadar ports can operate side by side and serve the immediate trade needs of over 400 million people in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, and Central Asia and over a billion people in near vicinity including India.

Iran is an enemy of USA. And of course USA does not want to upset the delicate balance of power in the Middle East of Sunni Saudi Arabia versus Shia Iran.
Saudi Arabia and Iran support proxies in the Middle East against each other.

Technically you are correct, USA will never take out Iran, because Sunnis would be secretly happy in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan.

I can bet with you now, if PAF conduct operations over Iranian airspace and bomb the terrorists safe heavens on iranian soil, there will be pin drop silence in whole western media. You wont hear anything from governments in west. Infact, behind the scene, they will support Iran.

These Iranian back terrorists serve greater agenda of yanks and their allies, which is to undermine Pakistan and China's BRI. These terrorists activities are serving both interests.

Easy to say this while hosting BLF as well as its other patron i.e. Indian intelligence on Iranian soil. Pakistan eliminated Regis for Iran. We chose neutrality over Yemen and the return was in the shape of continued use of Iranian soil against Pakistan.

Lip service is paid to the complementary nature of both port cities, but actually, Gwadar is seen as a threat, and to cater to that threat, lines of communication to and from Gwadar must be kept under pressure. That is where support for groups like BLF come into the picture.

This is what Pakistan's foreign office said in 2018

"Gawadar and Chahbahar are sister ports ............................."

And a simpleton like me kept saying "Chahbahar is a direct competitor and should be treated as such, there are no sisters and brothers in cut throat competition"

Pakistan caught a serving indian naval officer who was based in iran and operating against Pakistan, what did we do? AT's leader was killed as he entered Pakistan from iran, what did we do? Uzair baloch and many others like him, what did we do? Biradar mulk ........ when it was time to counter them and respond to their subversive activities against us, our parliament chickened out, we don't need to harm them directly but anywhere else if there is reason for their presence, that reason is also equally good for our presence to counter them and harm their interests.

You are preaching to the choir.

. .
I am not an advocate of harming iran in iran or direct confrontation, hit them where it hurts most. Chahbahar will sort out automatically.
Where does it hurt them? They are out against the Western alignment of CPEC.

Where ever they are trying to revive their persian empire influence. If cannot, then there is no need to lambast at them, Pakistanis deserve the treatment they are getting from them.

So they harbor proxies that hit your country directly and you attack their proxies? That would not be a deterrent.

Perhaps you should tell your leaders, because regularly we hear hate filled interviews or statements from Iranian leadership, that's not a brotherly attitude, if in fact that's how they/you feel. Forget brotherly, it isn't even a friendly attitude. You talk like that about an enemy.

No Pakistani leader of any significance has spoken about Iran in such a manner.

If you/they want love, then it should be returned, not empty statements, but internally give different statements, That's just pure hypocrisy.

.
Pakistanis made huge strategic blunder by handing over one of the Rigi brothers and dismantled Jundullah's presence on it's side of Balochistan. We should revive covert support to Jundullah and raise the temperature on Iranian side and hit back with Sunni proxies in Iran propert. Secondly, need to increase cooperation with the Arab states.

You have no idea how much this is going to hurt them if we with other interested states can wipe out persian influence in iraq, syria, yemen etc. to zero. Look this fight is not between Pakistan and iran, Pakistan is very young (and still confused), this is the same fight Hazrat Umar, Khalid and Saad bin Abi Waqas fought. These persians went to extents of building a parallel religion to achieve their centuries old goals, we don't need to fight them right next to our door, we can be shaking hands with them and hurting them in some other place. They like india not because it is some economic might, india is the place where Zoroastrians (their forefathers) fled, took refuge and started conspiring again. Just imagine Palestine was conquered by Hazrat Umar and today iranians portray themselves as the biggest supporters of Palestinian cause while at the same time they curse Umar day in day out.

If by new religion you mean Shia Islam, I have news for you, the Iranian population converted to Shia Islam much much later. Pakistan could not wipe out Indo-Iranian proxies at its own home and you want it to drive Iranian influence out of levant on an empty stomach.

Fully agreed. The precondition for any such support has to be hitting the Chahbahar complex.
