as I re-edit my last post..probably 300 or 450 km to connect Indus river directly to Pakistan border...with satellite optimization...we can chose a path that evoid digging tunnel as much as possible.

And who is going to fund this multi billion project ? China. Na, they are too smart to create trouble for the sake of creating trouble. Also the cost of human life that will be lost in the making. Also the high chances of water freeze in the tunnels passing under mountains that has sub zero temperature.

You know what is NATO but you don't know what is NA? It's Nato who run all along the way to Pakistan to fight a war in Afgan not the vise versa. Pakistan is not Iraq or Afgan, it has a stronger army than Iran, a more modern air force and the nuclear ability.

The case is not who is stronger but engagement and wastage of time. Anyway Pakistan will have to divert itself away from India to tackle West. Presently, Pakistan's economy is in deep chaos with security situation and this will surely go on upto 2014. Even NATO is going to be victorious or defeated in Afghanistan, they are surely too much frustrated with Pakistan and they aren't going to spare Pakistan after 2014. War may not be an option but sanctions do, NATO countries still control ADB, World Bank and IMF. Half of Pakistan's export go to NATO countries. Also Pakistan may have stronger army than Iran but they don't have strong economy like Iran with valuable oil and gas reserve. They won't tolerate that sanctions.

In both ways India don't need to care about Pakistan because coming decade is going to be tough for Pakistan and India can put more thoughts regarding making alliance with US, Russia, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea etc. against China.
