Why India does not have a vibrant strategic culture

. . .
you can get tons of news video of dalits and low castes killed in india.

Which is the more terrible thing. A few misguided fools killing an innocent guy, and then getting punished for it, or a state sponsored group going scot-free for blowing entire communities to bits.

So you are defending killing of Shias and Ahmedis. Way to go.

I admit criminals in our country, we accept the truth where as you just point at India where similar thing is happening in your sasural. In last week 55 people are killed in Karachi itself. Do you want us to post those videos too. ?

It is true sometimes India looks like a genius wrt being able to be friends with so many nations and forge random relationships and yet sometimes India makes poor decisions that contradict some of its values it says it holds true. Also here doesn't seem to be an overriding master plan at work but more of a peckemeal strategy. It has been successful uptil now but I imagine India could above much more.
Make it independant policy means any one could treat India as friend or enemy, 50% chance by each. India is still in the progress learning how to lead the way.

Ask most politicians, what is strategy? Theirs would be - how to win the next elections, how to get lucrative contracts, grab land, make tons of moolah from bribes, how to get their progeny into politics to make more money, and commit some murders and rapes along the way.

Who the fu@k knows or has time for the country? I'll bet my a$$ if they have even heard of the word, 'strategy'.

There is no danger of 60 percent muslims and all that. I am just saying religion does not matter. And hindus are not the most Unified people of all or whatever. IF you leave it to just Hindus, they will also divide based on castes or whatever. Its India's secular policy that matters. And secularism is not a Hindu principle.
Hindu only count 50% percentage of the whole population of India, so you've got to negotiate with nuisance before any thing could be done. Race identity is somehow more important to religious identity, we have all kinds of religious believer here in China scattered across, but all of us want to be unified under Hans goverment. Really sorry is this baisc principle is not ever adapted to India.

Hans take up 97% of the Chinese polulation, every thing is quick decided and done. That's the difference, it is not related to the policy but the population composition. India's decision making is slower than China in a doomed and natrual way, it cant be changed. Any way never relate democracy to your goverment decision making, look what USA does.

On the contrary, I think India has had a very clear strategic culture from the beginning. The quiet, methodical strategists have been guiding India through the maze of global politics relatively unscathed. The only people who whine about a supposed lack of strategic outlook are narcissistic amateurs who want India to become more "visible".

The smart strategists are not ruled by ego and follow the old wisdom: "just give me the fortune and you can have the fame".

India pursues a blur strategic culture toward the world, sometimes make itself quite confused. As mundane people, you cant live or pull off a thing by going independant policy, which means everyone could be your friend make you have no friend at all.

Living in a democratic world, you are really sorry to elect those a$$ leading your country.

There is no such propaganda. Pick any newspaper, there are news of these crimes done but we don't brush them under the carpet and start pointing others to take attention from ourselves.

BTW what happens in India is none of Pakistan's business so this topic should not be allowed.

You can have friends; you just don't have to tell the whole world about it. As long as your friend knows you are their friend, the rest of the world can keep guessing.

I think India certainly has its stragtegic culture, that is not to offend anyone ostensibly. Pakistan is not included.

Let others guess what you are doing all day will finally leads to mistrust accumulation.
