What's new

why hype of Pakistan Russian relations is just a HYPE

MI 35 deal will be signed this summer

Operation in NW is over except in Datta khel and Shawal, the return of the IDPs will begin onwards 15th feb to the rest of the NW and in the meantime Shawal will also be cleared.

Operation in orakzai agency and related will follow soon
Mi 35 is ok . But no no for engines :p:

.
Then probably our spare parts for tanks and trucks should be enough to match their defence spending, the rest of purchases will probably be equal to their entire GDP.

Undocumented economy of Pakistan is three times larger than documented economy. Similarly declared defence budget is only fraction of real one. We may have much more and spending even more on defence.

Russia have bigger economy and military than India. So it not dictating but mutual respect . How often you will get time tested friendship. That too at the time when West sanctioned russia so heavily. More over Russia China has very complicated friendship. It's like friends for benefit . If one's need is over its done . Not in the case of India.

Mutual respect works two way. If India buys from Russia's arch enemies, Russia can sell to India's arch enemies. Not really hard to justify in diplomatic talks between Russia and India. Sure you will still be priority but not a binding. Not anymore.

.
It is fairly simple. India no longer has Russia as its exclusive source of weapons. As a sovereign nation you chose to buy from west considering it best for you and without hurting your relations with Russia.

Now let's replace India with Russia. As a sovereign nation they chose to sell to Pakistan few weapons considering it best for their country without hurting their relations with India.

Just as we are not buying Putin's Russia to be our exclusive seller, India did not buy Russia to be exclusively theirs, especially when India broke the exclusive club first. Sounds reaonable, no?
May be not . India still use 60% russian . And more over we will make some huge investment in coming years . The projects will deepens the ties further like PakFa which will have impact and Intraction for the next 30 years , submarines deals , missiles like hyper bramos , war ships atleast for the next 15 years , MTA which will be well beyond 30 years of manufacturing and 12/15 Nuclear plants for the next 50 years . It's just a few like Sukoi upgrades are exclusive. Nearly 300 Sukoi to be upgraded . It's massive . Why in the world Russians want to sell weapons to Pakistan ? Which will decide the fate of some 300 billion conform deal ? That's why I mentioned. To do this Putin Sab must be crazy. Once India loss it's trust it won't go ahead with many of the above . As fear of Russian back tracking or black mailing

No not the case. India is been buying arms from many vendors including US which was renewed before 11 years. We been buying weapons from France UK Germany Israel etc. Even thou we dint have direct supply from us we had Israel to supply their technology. Russians know it ... There is a difference between arming Vietnam and Arming Taiwan. Both are not same . Even NDA was ok with Russians selling arms to Chinese . Because both wr friends at the same time with Russians.

Russians are not naive. They won't let these deals derailed. They know India also needs these deals. Given the long engagement with India, I am assuming they would have enough diplomatic leverage to convince India. If India gets stubborn, it might send a wrong message.

Goodness, who woke you up today?! Right off the bat i would say, india's demand is different to that of Pakistan, your Army, Air Force and Navy is much larger, given your vast size and coastline. Don't forget the running costs of such an army; wages, pensions, maintenance costs, upgrade, replacement and repair costs etc etc.. How much of your overall budget is operational, after expenditure?! Exactly not a lot.

Furthermore, the self-proclaimed 'super power' has a pesky budget, in stark contrast with the US (Approx $500bn approx, total spending around $740bn approx), China ($132bn approx), Russia (planned $80bn this year). Therefore, the indian defence budget can be likened to crumbs/a charity fund. Moreover, india's defence budget is approx 9th largest in the world, even though india is one of the largest countries in the world, with the second largest population and an enormous coastline. Super power who?!

To address your delusion. (Countries by military expenditure).
1) US
2) China
3) Russia
4) Saudi
5) France
6) Britain
7) Germany
8) Japan
9) India

Pakistan is not and has never claimed/professed to be a 'super power'. India on the other hand.... What were you saying about Pakistan's defence budget?!
Now laugh at your motherland (india) and don't stop.

Just to put things into perspective with regards to China, (closer to your size and population) and to shed some light on the issue:

The Chinese have a nominal GDP around 5 times that of india, (PPP) GDP, around 2.5x that of india, exports of around $2.2 trillion approx, which is in stark contrast to india's apparent $315bn (approx) export. Moreover, China's foreign reserves amount to just under $4 trillion, dwarfing india's $320bn by manifolds. In conjunction to the vast economic-chasm witnessed between the two countries, there is the vast-military chasm which China enjoys also.

What were you saying about Pakistan's GDP?!, If ignorance was painful, you'd need a lot of morphine. Now sit down you clueless idiot.

Shoooo

Russia will never sell aircraft carriers, submarines, frontline fighters, 5th gen fighters, LRSAMs etc or co-develop other critical systems or missiles with Pakistan.

.
Pakistan friends on PDF !

Since you don't know about Russians hear from one of their best friend. Rite Now Russians ARE Short Of nearly 30 billion dollars for their economic mess . AND THEY ARE NOT IN THE POSITION FOR CHARITY Funds. They need lots of money. They are literally selling what ever they have to get money and build their armed forces to out match China and Americans. Now why Russians want to sell weapons to Pakistan ? Any way pakistan is cash strapped now. May be Chinese provide funds ? They should be . But already lots of funds been dispatched to Pakistan on soft loan for building war ships fighter jets etc. And Pakistan also want more jf 17 and new 6 submatines which will cost a huge amount from Chinese budget. But things have changed China is not growing but slowing down. They need money to build up their fleets .

Coming to ur point . Russia used it to push India to fast track the deals and pour in Money into russian economy. That's what we saw few days ago before Obama visit . There must have been a understanding between India and Russia . Surely India should have complained about arm sales to China and Pakistan and problems on joint ventures tot. So both must have agreed to solve issues and back to normal. In fact we decided to fast track joint ventures and ink the deal as soon as possible to fund Russians. Including new lease for 2 nuclear submarine and FGFA MTA programme, mini bramos , Bramos A , Super Sukoi and additional 3 russian frigate which India already have capacity to build on their own. Which see nearly more than 10 billion dollars atleast . AND NO WONDER IF INDIA HELPED RUSSIA WITH CREDIT to solve their crisis. It will be hush hush .

So do you think russia will sell arms to Pakistan and for what ? Few million dollars and loss it's best friend and that to friend with deep pockets ? I guess not .

But Mr.Putin is not well for sometimes now. He has entered into state of trance where only war with NATO is the only option to come out of this state. So he might go ahead and abandon India and go ahead with Pakistan . Am sure Indo US close cooperation should have been discussed. During surprise visit of Russian Defence Minister meeting with Indian Defence Minister . And India must have conveyed it's point of view and it's own national threat from china and pakistan. Which Russia will presumably ll be mum until N word drops during war.

So there is no reason for Russians to sell weapons to Pakistan unless trance state of Mr. PUTIN make him fully crazy . :police:
Russia after soviet break up for first time offered us attack helicopters and Air Defence which never happened before so its great start. Now for China it still is growing and has massive money but we when short of money has friends in MIDDLE EAST kid as for weapons we are doing great and more deals will be signed soon.
