India had land reforms...despite that quite a few states had naxals fighting against the politicians and zamindars .
It's astonishing that inspite of wide spread corruption and feudal system Pakistan never had any armed rebelliion. This corruption and feudal system has led to the current economic collapse...even Sri Lanka which has just 3 crore population saw people coming out on the roads and occupying presidents building...the president had to flee the country ..Will Pakistanis come out and take on corrupt politicians like Sri Lankans did?

For a true rebellion you need very strong will to mobilise people.

It's not that the people of Pakistan don't have it in them, just see what they do to Ahmedia masjids or how angry they get at LGBTQ events. (Fair enough)

But it's because they still have some respect and sympathy for the military.

It wasn't until Sri Lanka was brought onto its knees until people mobilised.

No doubt if IK fully labelled military as complete national traitors working for some kaffirs abroad or something. We might see a rebellion.

the overwhelming homogeneity of culture/mazhab despite there being a few 'fissures and cracks' here and there

they're also a heavily (or have been traditionally) a state where.. army has more or less total control and sway over politicians

insurgencies, they have a couple.. but "rebellion".... "of the people" is a very rare thing.. mostly Pak Army have rebelled against the civvie rulers lol
