Why Foreign Currency Reserves are falling in Bangladesh?

Although the govt says the foreign currency reserves are $36.33 billion, in reality, it is $29.33 billion or less because the govt has already given $7 billion to its cronies in the name of EDF or the Economic Development Fund.

The WB has already pointed out the matter quite a few months ago. What a wastage of people's hard-earned money by this Hasina Bibi. I suspect most of the beneficiaries belong to her extended family.
