I am amazed at how ill-informed people are when it comes to geo-politics....It is not about one or two platforms that changes the military equation....US had given so many platforms to Taiwan...does that mean China fears them?? However in geo-political terms Taiwan is in US camp...this is what increases headache for China...Similarly when India(if at all) starts delivering Brahmos, Akash etc system to Vietnam then every such sale brings the strategic relations of India and Vietnam that much closer...Do you think we will stop there??...Obviously China would throw everything they have to avoid it...as they would always want more and more footprint in IOC however at the same time would deny India any in South China Sea....India obviously will try to do the opposite...

Just wondering why Vietnam wants to buy second-handed from India rather than import them directly from the origin, given they have a very good relationship with Russian? You guys cheered your own wish like it is a done deal. Typical wishful thinking with an imaginary influence to spice?

Being the biggest foreign military equipment importer, India doesn't have too much to offer, so "Do you think we will stop there" is just as empty as an upside down glass. Hey, you guys even have to import low tech weapon like rifles and howitzers.

I think China's success has gone into your head and that's why this arrogance is out there....Akash, Brahmos are very important milestones for us...Our defense industry has to compete with best toys out there in the market and if some weapon systems that are made in India are selected then it is a very proud moment for us...
