And to answer you question, Turkey has the second biggest Army within NATO, highly trained according to NATO standards, well equipped, going to be one of the first countries to operate 5th gen Fighters (in 4 years), far ahead of its neighbors militaries, and a long history with military tradition.

The real question is what makes you think Turkish military isnt strong for its size.

The thread title implies something else, so your basically here to compare a middle sized country with Superpowers, doesnt make much sense tbh.
Turkey is easily in top 10 of world militaries with a decent defence industry and export, so asking ''Why do you think Turkey's military is powerful?'' doesnt make sense in the first place.
